Birmingham’s Snowhill Development

The Snowhill development is set to be one of the biggest city centre redevelopment schemes in the United Kingdom. The project is taking place in the middle of Birmingham, and is a mixed-use development by the property development and investment group Ballymore.

The Snowhill development will consist of several residential, office and retail divisions and is located in a prime central location in the business district of Birmingham city. The Snowhill development has been designed so that everything is found on the site and within close proximity. The development lies within walking distance to all modes of transport to all major routes in the city. A luxurious 23-storey five star hotel will be built on the site, as well as two large office buildings. The two office buildings will be home to over 600,000 square feet of Grade A office accommodation, as well as break and common rooms for the employees. Much of the space has already been pre-let to big firms, although plenty of different sized office space does remain. Snowhill also includes a tall 44-story residential tower containing 332 luxury apartments and penthouses. The residents will enjoy panoramic views of the city amidst a luxurious home. A gymnasium and a spa are also being developed by Ballymore for the use of all the residents of Snowhill. Shops, and restaurants and cafes will be readily available on the premises.
