Duke’s Wharf Development

The Duke’s Wharf development project in Norwich has gained planning approval, and is set to include a mix of residential blocks, office buildings, retail sections, restaurants, cafes and an art gallery. The development will take place on a former electricity board site which is to become demolished to make way for the new project.

Duke’s Wharf is being built with a minimum carbon footprint; and will feature a large public courtyard and garden. The development is set over 200,000 square feet, and hopes to include a mix of residential apartments and houses which will be unique to the city. The development awaits final approval and is scheduled to begin construction at the beginning of next year.
