Eastside Marina Development

The Eastside marina development project in Gibraltar is expected to bring economic growth to the island, as well as open up hundreds of job vacancies. The ongoing development will take place over the next few years, and will consist of the new harbour as well as several residential units.  The new harbour will be large enough to accommodate yachts and cruise liners and has been designed to withstand storms and waves. A cruise liner terminal will be built to accommodate visitors throughout the year.

The residential units include various apartments with panoramic sea views and terraces. Upon completion, the development will consist of 2200 apartments ranging in different sizes. There will also be a hotel on the premises, as well as a central plaza, gardens and a public square. The project also consists of the manufacturing of two beaches on either side of the harbour, all within easy access to the developments. The marina will offer various leisure centres and activities including nearby tennis courts, shopping areas, swimming pools, boating and sailing.
