Hyderabad Airport

The new Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad has successfully begun operation and boasts the longest runway in Southeast Asia. The airport has stimulated growth in the already busy IT city, and new developments are taking place in the vicinity of the airport. The airport has been built 30 kilometres outside of the city, and this has stimulated business and residential growth to take place in the surroundings.  Already FAB City is being built nearby the new airport and is India’s first microchip manufacturer.

Banyan Tree projectHyderabad is undergoing several developments, including mega infrastructure projects. An elevated Expressway is being built, as well as a new metro. The Outer Ring Road project is a 159 kilometre long road which will increase connectivity to several nearby cities and motorways.

Real estate prices around the airport have gone up as the area has become increasingly popular. The Banyan Tree project is one of several residential projects being built to accommodate the need for new homes. This is a mixed use development being built over 64 acres of land, featuring villas, apartments and recreational facilities. Several other projects are underway with more demand occurring in the area. Hyderabad and its neighbouring towns are seeing much growth and are attracting investors from all over the world.
