Marsden Cove
Marsden Cove is a planned marine township that will set a new and unique benchmark on coastal development in New Zealand. Located in a picturesque setting two hours north of Auckland; Marsden Cove lies in a prime area for not only residents, but boat owners, visitors and holiday makers.
Marsden Cove is located between Auckland and the Bay of Islands, giving boat owners a great range of cruising ground. Nearby is the twenty three-kilometre long Bream Bay Beach, and just twenty two kilometres offshore are the Hen and Chicken Islands. The Poor Knights Marine Reserve lies fifty five kilometres offshore, and is a great spot for scuba diving. Marsden Cove will be a prime site for a range of water sports, including boating, fishing, diving, snorkelling and kayaking.
At the heart of Marsden Cove, there will be a 230 berth marina and a waterfront boulevard. The boulevard will be home to many specialised retail shops, cafes and restaurants for both residents and visitors. Opposite the boulevard, there will be a mix of residential homes and low-rise apartment buildings each with panoramic views of the surrounding seas and mountains. Investors can choose between canal front homes with private jetties, or homes with shared boat ramps. Plans for a separate retirement village are in place, boasting private jetties on the doorstep.
