The Gateway Plaza Project

The Barnsley Development is seeing rapid progress and Phase One of the construction is already complete. The Gateway Plaza project located in Barnsley in the heart of Yorkshire. It is a major redevelopment project which features residential and commercial sections. Upon its completion expected to be in 2009, the Gateway Plaza will consist of 188 apartments, offices, retail sections, car park, a Premier Inn and restaurant, and leisure areas which will all be built encircling a large plaza.

Residents in the area are excited about the ongoing development, and are keen to see the finished product. The project is well underway and changes are being seen on a daily basis. The skeleton of the development is almost complete and it is getting easier for people to imagine the result. The car park will feature 548 spaces to accommodate visitors and residents in the area. The development is expected to bring several jobs to the district, and has attracted a lot of interest amongst potential real estate investors.
