World Class Marina In Costa Rica

Costa Rica

A world class marina is set to be built on the Quepos coast of Costa Rica. Quepos is centrally located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, and boasts a stunning location. The Marina contractor Bellingham has joined up with local fishing enthusiast Harold Lovelady and his colleague John Kane to build a state-of-the-art modern marina.
Quepos has long been considered as a fishing haven, but has been very limited to anglers due to inadequate facilities and access to the fishing grounds. Marina Pez Vela will open up many miles of the Pacific Ocean to travellers and anglers from all over the world. The Marina is set to open late this year, and will be Costa Rica’s premier marina destination. The first phase of construction includes one hundred slipways that will accommodate yachts up to 200 feet in length. The Marina Pez Vela will retain 300 slips to allow easy access into the water, as well as secure moorage for the boats. There will be many services available along the quay side, including internet access, telephone lines, and fresh water. The marina will be set up with high speed fuel pumps and septic pump-outs on site. Upon completion, the marina will feature all modern conveniences, with residential units, restaurants, a luxury hotel, retail centres and grocery stores on the premises. For the anglers and yachtsmen, there will be tackle shops, marine suppliers and dry stacks available.
